Of the many projects we receive, sometimes there are areas where Project Principals, Investment-grade entities, and even Governmental agencies may require some assistance to properly prepare their projects for consideration.
Where We may be of Assistance:
The most common "major" areas where we see problems that delay, or even disqualify, a project for funding consideration, are in the following areas:
Lack of a Qualified Contractor to build the project: Some projects have difficulty locating a qualified Contractor to construct their project. The "Bid" process can sometimes be a lengthy affair, and often takes quite some time to evaluate the capabilities of the companies submitting their offer to perform the work desired. We have relationships with some of the finest, most reputable Contractors in the Nation, and depending on the type of Project that is to be built, we may be able to refer you to a competent, and qualified, "Bond able" Contractor with the experience necessary to properly construct your type of Project. Most, if not all of these Contractors, are "EPC" Contractors, that can be of great assistance to you in helping to secure the proper Permits, and in designing and constructing your project to desired specifications.
Lack of a Qualified Entity or "Guarantor" to secure the Loan or Investment: All competent Lenders require that any project that is creating something "for sale", has a qualified entity on board, or under a Contract arrangement, that has the ability to purchase enough of the product being produced to sustain the project and its operations. The existing premise for any Lending entity is to assure themselves that any Loan that may be issued, or any Investment that might be made, for any "new" construction, or major renovation of an existing site, is "guaranteed" in some way against loss.
In some cases, the ability to "self-guarantee" a project may be present, usually from a Government or an Investment-grade Corporation or entity. In most cases however, many Project Principals and companies do not have the ability to guarantee a loan or an investment for the project they wish to create, and do not have resources of their own that they can access to provide this requirement to obtain financing for their project. This is an area where HumaniLend may be able to help. We have access to some highly qualified Individuals and Investment entities who are willing, and have the ability, to serve as "guarantors" for your project, in the event you require one. In essence, they have the ability to "co-sign" your Loan or Investment to ensure that your project is able to sustain its' operating expenses, and make the Loan or Lease payments, regardless of any event that may prevent your project from being able to make payments associated with the project. (The assistance of a qualified "Guarantor" is subject to acceptance and qualification of the Project.)
Lack of the ability secure a proper Contract for the Energy or Products your Project produces: At HumaniLend, we do not help you secure Contracts for the Energy, qualifying Fuel product, service, or function that your project will produce, or for the service that you may be providing. However, we can offer our assistance in helping you understand the elements that need to exist in a proper Contract with an Investment-grade entity that wishes to purchase whatever product your project will be producing, or the service your project was designed to perform, to conform to the lending parameters that we have, or that any of our afiliated Lending entities have, when considering your project for funding.
Lack of the ability to secure Permits: Every project that is to be considered for funding, must have the ability to be able to secure all of the necessary Permits to both operate and build the Project. A qualified Contractor can be of immense assistance in helping you to secure the proper Permits. As we mentioned above, we may be able to help you secure a qualified Contractor to help you in this regard.
Lack of proper Insurance Coverage: Certain forms of Insurance are required, or should be acquired, to protect both the project and the Loan/Investment. We can help you understand what Insurance policies are required, and may be able to refer you to competent, Licensed Insurance agencies and professionals to assist you in acquiring the Policies you need.
Other Areas of Assistance:
Project Underwriting: We offer our services to help you organize your project to properly prepare it for funding consideration. We have a thorough understanding of what our Lending entities and the Funds we work with require of anyone submitting a project to them for financing consideration, and we are tasked by agreements with these entities to properly prepare projects for them to consider. We see many project proposals that are well-written, yet nearly all of them have no understanding of what documentation a Lender needs or requires, or how such documentation needs to be presented, in order for a lending entity to even consider their proposal for financing consideration.
To access any of our Lending entities, we strongly suggest that you take advantage of this service to properly prepare your project for consideration from any of our sources ..... or for that matter, anywhere else. This service will provide you with a thorough analysis of your Project and its' documentation, including a thorough review of the Business Plan, the Projects' Pro Formas, and all supporting documentation, and will provide you with well thought out "suggestions" and other insightful recommendations as to what, if anything, needs to be done to correct or revise your Project Plan to help ensure it will conform to, or meet, any Lenders' standards for funding.
A Professional recommendation will also be provided from an overall "Business" perspective as to whether the project is ready to pursue appropriate financing options. This analysis may, or will, also contain an opinion from an expert in the field of business or technology that your project will be involved with. If any documentation is missing, needed, or needs to be corrected to conform to a Lenders' standards, it will be noted with recommendations as to what needs to be done.
Writing your Business Plan or Executive Summary: As we mentioned in the previous section, we see many Business Plans submitted for financing consideration. Some of them are well-written; however most of them are not. In some cases, we have people who are experts in their field of technology, but have no idea of how to write a Business Plan for a Lender. At HumaniLend, we can help you write, or re-write, a Business Plan that is written and formatted properly to be able to be presented to top-tier Lending entities. We have created master templates for both Business Plans and a worksheet that has been proven successful when submitting projects for consideration, set up in the formats that these Lending entities prefer to see when they consider options for qualified projects.
Project Management: We have certified experts on hand that represent a variety of business disciplines, most notably in the Waste Destruction/Materials Recovery and the Alternative and Renewable Energy fields, and access to other individuals and entities who may be of great help to you in managing your project, or providing expert advice on how to manage operations once the project is operating, ranging from Engineering to Distribution, and Accounting, HR, and Legal advice. If you are in need of such advice, or advisory services, we might be of great help to you in this regard.
What We do not offer assistance in doing:
Securing Contracts for the Energy or Products your project intends to produce: We will help explain the lending programs we offer to any qualified Investment-grade entity or partner, but we do not help you to negotiate the terms of your internal contract with qualified "Intake", "Off-take", or "Feed-stock" entities to finalize or secure an appropriate income stream to your project. If necessary, we will "suggest" certain terms, rates, and duration's that may need to exist to qualify properly, however, this is an internal function of the project, and we will only suggest such modifications if requested, or required.
Securing Permits: We are not Contractors, Project Principals, or Permit Authorities. Therefore, we expect that you will have contacted a qualified Contractor, or have contacted the appropriate Permit Authority in the jurisdiction where you intend to build your project, for a list of the appropriate Permits necessary to both operate and build your project.
Securing Insurance Policies: We are not Licensed Insurance agents. Therefore, we cannot obtain Policies, or give any quotes on what such policies cover, or what they cost. Please contact a licensed agent or agency.
"Educating" you on the Industry: We are quite busy Underwriting and approving Loans for qualified projects, and helping to "revitalize" communities, and we simply do not have the time to spend "educating" people on their Industry, or any specific segment of it. We expect that if you are pursuing financing for any type of qualified project, that you are "educated" in the nuances of that particular industry, and are knowledgeable about the particular type of project you wish to create. We do offer professional, and personalized, assistance through our Underwriting service, and from the many resources we either have access to or have made arrangements with, however, there are plenty of resources available through the Internet, and even some here on our site under the "Resources" tab that can help you access resources to develop your project, learn more about your Industry, and that can aid you in helping to determine how your project may affect, or be able to help, the Community, Region, State, or even Nation that it is intended to serve.
